Merlin Coles, 3, watches the Royal Ascot on TV at home while sitting on his horse Mr Glitter Sparkles with his dog Mistress, as horse racing resumed behind closed doors after the coronavirus outbreak, in Bere Regis, Britain, June 17, 2020.

Clearly his silks are for a much larger jockey. I vote we let this offense pass given his age and irrepressible eagerness being so contagious.

I wholeheartedly endorse his eagerness. It’s the horse in the living room, and the dog, that I’m wondering about.

I'm quite certain those are all taxidermied.

You are asking how you can be this awesome?

If they are, then that’s weird.

Exactly. Or this rich.

Here’s a good project horse for under a thousand dollars

You know, these things happen...

Horses aren’t all that expensive. Biggest cost is boarding and taking care of them if you don’t have a horse property , but even that’s doable even if you aren’t rich. I’m a teacher and a coworker owns a few. I’m saving up to get my daughter one. I’ll either board it with my coworker, or get my own horse property.

That’s where you draw the line?

Yeah, who gets their kid taxidermied

My personal pony stays tethered in the garage. Never in the living room. And my riding boots stay in the closet. Never wear them in the house. I do however keep my snotty Rich boy attitude on while in my mansion.

I’m glad you got it.

I’m sure both animals were very well accustomed to keeping up a high level of social acumen in
each other’s presence and literally being involved in a dog and pony show.

My mom and sister have owned several horses over the years, they still have 2, and they board them at another farm. As you say, getting the horse is the cheap part. Boarding can be expensive (as much or more than a car payment) and vet bills are what really get you!

“... his horse Mr Glitter Sparkles with his dog Mistress...”
Okay...his parents definitely listen to My Life with the Thrill Kill K ult.
... Going to have some explaining to do in about 10 years.

Doesn’t everyone.......

So what you’re saying is, it’s just like buying a cheap German Luxobarge.

You would figure Schwarzenegger has had enough ass for one lifetime

Clearly you are unacquainted with naming conventions in England. Scar is a popular baby girl’s name currently.

I t’s still better than putting an Italian stallion in the living room !

Hmmm that's not what I would have gone for.

When you think about it, it’s very cost-effective in the long run...
